ADI Targets Middle East Expansion

Formula E Ad Diriyah Saudi Arabia ADI Screens

LED screen specialist ADI is expanding into the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The company is looking to establish a permanent base in the region and is actively recruiting for a number of commercial and operational roles.

Known for the world’s largest and highest resolution range of mobile LED screens, along with solutions in modular LED, video distribution and production, ADI already has experience in delivering events in the Middle East, having supplied the ABB FIA Formula E Ad Diriyah E-Prix in 2018. ADI delivered over 650 sq m of stunning modular screens as the international electric street racing championship made its debut in the Middle East, marking the first major global sporting event to take place in Saudi Arabia.

And the company is currently gearing up to repeat the feat at the 2019 edition of the race, which takes place from 22 to 23 November. A variety of 19 high-resolution screens will be installed across the purpose-built Ad Diriyah circuit, with a range of displays up to 60m in size – along with 18km of circuit level fibre distribution to deliver HD feeds to every screen and a custom-made 4mm LED podium that travels to every E-Prix.

During Spring 2020, ADI will be working with existing clients to deliver LED screen services for live events in the UAE and KSA. Nick Robinson, ADI’s Screen Rental Director, commented: “The live events and sports entertainment sector is growing at an incredible rate across the region, and having worked on some high-profile, historic events previously, we know where our expertise and innovative LED solutions can add value.”

In order to facilitate the company’s expansion in the region, ADI is now advertising for a number of roles, including: Senior and Junior Video/LED Technicians, Senior and Junior Project Managers, Account Managers and Sales & Operational Support.
