Encore Restarts Intership Programme

Encore Middle East has relaunched its internship programme, welcoming two new team members to spend six months with the company from October 2022 to March 2023.

Canadian Caroline Frost has joined the company’s lighting department, while Brian Els from South Africa has joined the audio team.

“We are delighted to welcome our two interns, who will be joining us in the Middle East from October to March as part of this year’s six-month internship programme,” said HR Manager, Shiella Manzano. “For obvious reasons, we have paused the programme in the past two years, but we are now ready to resume and start offering this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity again to these up-and-coming technical professionals.”

The programme allows interns to gain experience in their chosen discipline, both in the warehouse and onsite. A structured approach ensures that all interns are given the necessary information to be successful, starting with an orientation period in the warehouse covering operational procedures and technical expertise, as well as onsite experience. Each intern is partnered with a specialised coach to ensure an effective learning experience and that HSE best practice in carried out in the warehouse or onsite.

“Our approach to the programme, while structured, is also organic in nature,” Manzano added. “This means we take into account the intern’s unique capabilities and readiness levels as assessed by their coaches, ensuring that every intern receives first-hand personalised experience.”
